Shipping, Payment & Return Policy Information

Instruments are shipped via Fedex or Overnite Freight. All instruments are securely packaged and fully insured. If you are not happy with an instrument and it is not in the condition stated you can return it within 5 days of receipt for a full refund less all shipping expenses provided it is returned in the same condition in which it was sent out. Buyers are responsible for all incurred shipping costs and must fully insure any returned instrument. If a deposit is held for a listed instrument, other than a special order or restoration project, and the deposit is returned for any reason, there will be a 20% relisting fee subtracted from the returned deposit. There is no return deposit allowed on special orders, custom orders or restoration projects. If a purchase agreement signed by both parties is terminated by a buyer, and a deposit has been transacted, buyer will forfeit deposit in full. If The Mallet Shop, LLC terminates a purchase agreement, the deposit will be returned in full.


We accept personal checks, money orders, cashier checks, wires and Visa or Mastercard. All currency transacted is in US dollars. Full payment must be received prior to any shipment of an instrument except for schools and universities providing purchase orders.
